CEV65M-00444: Alternative to the SSI multi-turn absolute encoder from TR Deere Explained

A customer came in to inquire about an encoder with this model number: CEV65M-00444.

This customer was in a bit of a hurry and wanted to solve the application problem in a short period of time. I didn't have this product either, and through inquiries I realized it was a 2005 model.

This is an absolute encoder with SSI communication from TR Deere Encoder, the resolution is 4096*4096, Gray code. Flange size: 65mm, tab size: 36mm, shaft hole: 10mm. with these data, we are good to match the alternative.

First, we go ahead and machine the appropriate flange dimensions, which are important to use to match the dimensions of the mounting structure. Then, there is the internal structure and circuitry. The resolution parameter setting conventional 4096*4096 will do. Outgoing wires used M23-12 aerial plug. This completes the alternative program.
